Text Dependent Analysis
Learners must have ongoing opportunities to engage in text-dependent analysis to become College and Career Ready.
 
During this session, participants will learn:
  • what students will experience during the Text-Dependent Analysis segment of the WI Forward Exam and how the exam is scored.
  • how text-dependent analysis can be embedded into classroom reading, writing, and speaking opportunities to optimize rigor of learning.
Please bring your colleagues and a piece of complex (engaging grade-level or course text) to plan for upcoming text-dependent analysis instruction.
